Liz joined Community Connections as Director of Community Relationships in July 2020 and began her new position of Chief Community Relationships Officer in March 2023. Liz is responsible for fundraising, brand management, events, marketing and communications, as well as managing Flower Angels and the Flower Angels Thrift Store, part of the Community Connections family. Liz brings a rich work and volunteer history in leadership, communications and advocacy to the organization.
In 1999, Liz moved to the Cape with her family and helped establish Rabideau Media Group as co-owner and associate publisher. When the company was sold, she directed her attention to nonprofits on Cape Cod. Liz’s work with nonprofits has always been focused on building relationships to strengthen the message and mission of these organizations.
Prior to Community Connections, Liz held Executive Director roles at the Cape Cod Maritime Museum and Cape Cod Center for Women. Since 2004, Liz has volunteered as a Board Member for YMCA Cape Cod. Liz has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Michigan and a graduate certificate in Gender, Leadership and Public Policy from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.
