Lisa Meleski | Developmental Specialist II
To be nominated for Employee of the Year is to be an extremely exceptional employee, who has gone far above and beyond for the greater good of Community Connections, and the people we serve. Lisa Meleski is that person. Lisa far exceeds expectations of her job description as a Developmental Specialist II. Lisa has always gone above and beyond. However, since the pandemic began, she has helped guide our program through very tough times.
The Wareham program, like all of our programs, runs within a tight budget, and fortunately for us, Lisa has always shared her “handyman” talents with us when needed. Lisa has helped us to resolve numerous issues at the program, saving us time and money and ensuring we are providing the highest quality services to our clients.
Lisa creates and runs entertaining video sessions for any clients that are unable to attend the program in-person. Even as more clients come back to the program in-person, she is still creating and running remote video sessions for those unable to attend. We have received much praise from families in regards to the wonderful remote sessions that have allowed clients to maintain social skills during a very trying time. Thank you, Lisa, for all you do!
Through a person-centered approach, we design individualized programs that build on the strengths of the whole person, enabling them to live as independently as possible in their community.
We count on donors like you, so our clients can continue to reach their goals through therapies and activities.
