The Flower Angels volunteers repurpose donated flowers into floral arrangements for delivery to Cape Cod nursing home residents.

Founded in 2014, Flower Angels is rooted in the understanding that nursing home residents often feel isolated.

Twice a week, flower arrangements are delivered to nursing homes, so that no one feels forgotten. The mission continues!

By following strict protocols at the Flower Angels workshop and partnering with a limited number of nursing homes, a small team of Flower Angels volunteers carries on the work of connecting with our elderly by making and delivering teacup flower arrangements.

Flower Angels is a self-funded program of Community Connections. Help us continue flower deliveries to nursing homes on Cape Cod!

Have event flowers to donate?

If your wedding or special event is located on Cape Cod, we would love to accept your flowers. To discuss your flower donation, please call 508-280-9869.

When you donate your beautiful flowers, our volunteers repurpose your flowers into lovely small bouquets and cheerfully deliver these flowers to those who need a bit of sunshine and kindness.

Our volunteers pick up your flowers from the event venue, then transform them into “random acts of love” and deliver to residents of nursing homes and hospice patients across Cape Cod.

Donating your event flowers to Flower Angels USA, a 501(C)(3) charitable organization, is tax deductible as allowed by law. Our $250 pickup and repurposing fee is 100% tax deductible.

Prefer to make a financial donation to Flower Angels?

The work of Flower Angels is done with little fanfare. Every Monday and Thursday a team of volunteers gets together at the workshop, sorts through donated flowers, and creates beautiful teacup arrangements for Cape Cod nursing home residents.

Creating these beautiful arrangements is done with an all-volunteer team with donated flowers and teacups. But, unfortunately, the program is not without its costs. A number of operational expenses must be covered by donors. Donors like you who understand the value of the Flower Angels mission and the deep need for all humans to connect in meaningful and loving ways.

"Our goal is to further increase community inclusion
for the elderly and people with disabilities."
