Flower Angels is part of the Community Connections family!
Flower Angels is rooted in the understanding that nursing home residents often feel lonely.
Twice a week, flower arrangements are delivered to nursing homes, so that no one feels forgotten. The mission continues!
By following strict protocols at the Flower Angels workshop and partnering with a limited number of nursing homes, a small team of Flower Angels volunteers carries on the work of connecting with our elderly through the delivery of teacup flower arrangements.
Help us continue flower deliveries to nursing homes on Cape Cod!
If your wedding or special event is located on Cape Cod, we would love to accept your flowers. Please call 508-280-9869 to discuss your donation.
When you donate your beautiful flowers, our volunteers repurpose your flowers into lovely small bouquets and cheerfully deliver these flowers to those who need a bit of sunshine and kindness.
Our volunteers pick up your flowers from the event venue, then transform them into “random acts of love” and deliver to residents of nursing homes and hospice patients across Cape Cod.
Donating your event flowers to Flower Angels USA, a 501(C)(3) charitable organization, is tax deductible as allowed by law. Our $250 pickup and repurposing fee is 100% tax deductible.
Community Connections clients from the South Yarmouth program help the Flower Angels by bringing flowers to the Flower Angels workshop and participating in flower deliveries to nursing homes on Cape Cod.
Flower Angels has benefited greatly from the kindness of others, including floral partners such as Trader Joe’s and Shaw’s Supermarkets as well as many brides and event planners who donate wedding flowers for repurposing into arrangements for nursing home residents.
Through personalized case management, we design individualized programs that build on the strengths of the whole person, enabling them to live as independently as possible in their community.
We count on donors like you, so our clients can continue to reach their goals through therapies and activities.
