Joe is one of our most tenured members of the executive team. He joined Community Connections in 1986 as a Vocation Evaluator of the Fall River Employment Services. He was promoted to Manager of Service in 1991, and then in 1999 was promoted to Director of Employment and Residential Services. Under Joe’s leadership the programs received the highest level of certification and accreditation offered by the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services. After serving Community Connections as a Regional Director, he was promoted to Vice President of Programs and now to his current position of Chief Operating Officer. Joe brings 30+ years of experience in supporting individuals with disabilities and has written and secured numerous responses to Request for Response (RFR) documents. He is responsible for the submission of all State Contracts and for the completion of our annual budget as well as overseeing our Service Directors and their programs.
In Joe’s time away from the office, he is an avid golfer and long-time volunteer for Special Olympics.
